First Blog...
O.K. So I am now officially a blogger. I have been wanting to set this up for sometime, so that we could keep in touch with friends and family, but just had not had a chance to yet. (somehow the days seem to past fast with a 5 month old!) So today is the day, The Emerson Family...Luke, Leigh Ann, Parker, and Cayman have a blog site.
Today started out really rainy, we heard it all through the night, and it was still coming down this morning. You would think that would make for a good night of sleep, but not so much. Parker is working on his "night time" sleep, and has been doing well the past few nights, but last night was a step back. He was up at 12, 3, 5, and 6:30. We are going to have to start fresh tonight. We were a little off our "normal" routine, so we will see if that makes a different tonight. The funny thing is no matter how tired you are from the night, when he smiles at you first thing in the morning, all the sleep deprivation seems to disappear.
We are headed home for Thanksgiving on Wednesday. We are so excited to be going to Nashville. We miss it so much and can't wait to get back for good! Parker is excited to experience his first Thanksgiving. He has started eating cereal, so he will be able to enjoy his meal with everyone else on Thursday!
Parker is napping at the moment, something that usually last for about 45 min. so going to try and get some cleaning done while I have a moment!
